Kybella is a nonsurgical alternative to neck liposuction and/or a surgical neck lift. This injectable offers a long-lasting way to melt away the frontal and profile appearance of a double chin and/or fat neck.

Additional Details

Treatment: The treatment is administered by injection using a formulation of deoxycholic acid, a natural fat dissolver that is identical to the fat dissolver naturally produced by one’s own body. Purpose: Designed to dissolve moderate to severe subcutaneous neck fat under the chin in order to restore a more youthful and sculpted appearance in the chin/neck area.
Results: Expect to see fat reduction and skin tightening within 2 – 3 weeks of treatment. Multiple treatments may be recommended depending on the severity of the problem. Recovery: No downtime. May experience minor bruising, swelling, and pain at the injection sites, but that will resolve within 1 – 2 days.
Pain Level: Akin to a series of pin pricks. For those who are sensitive, a lidocaine numbing cream can be used. Duration: 30 Minutes
